Mackie DRM315 Review Of The Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Powerful, clear sound; professional-grade performance that anyone can appreciate
  • Sturdy design to hold up in commercial use or play time at home with friends and family
  • Adjustable EQ knobs for precise control – even when playing on stage or outdoors. (Great for DJs!!)
  • The speaker is the perfect size and so easy to transport because they are not too big or heavy. It stays cool even though it’s so powerful, and you can easily move them from place to place without having to worry about the heat!

Cons:

  • For some, it may be too bass heavy. This is easily fixed by moving the EQ knob down for a little less of that low end.

My Experience Using The Mackie DRM315 Speakers

I have been using the Mackie DRM315 for about a month and LOVE them. They are very sturdy, well-made speakers that can handle just about any level of sound you throw at them!

They are not too heavy to move around if you need to take them somewhere, but they will still hold up in a commercial venue without any issues. I have used the Mackie’s for a couple of different people working as a sound man. The first gig was at a local church. Their speakers were 20 years old and very worn, to put it nicely. That left me and my Mackie’s.

While we were warming up, one of the worship team came over to me and said how great my speakers sounded – on par with his home set-up!! Needless to say, that pleased me.
